ok guys,

so based on a lot of your golden advice (airhead, genrulpoleaxe, nick232 among others) 2 months ago I bought myself an airbrush. I thought it\'d be rude not to post my results.

This is one of my first outings with it and I\'ve used it for basecoating, highlighting and even for applying the final matt varnish coat.

I did 3 valkyries with the airbrush on one hand and the FW masterclass book in the other (this made holding the minis very hard...)

Here are some of the finished shots;

Thanks guys, I\'ve added a few of these onto my CMON gallery if you wanted to vote or comment.

They look awesome, I\'m actually painting this exact model with my airbrush right now, using that book for reference too :) What colors were you using?

Very well done. The weathering is perfect to my tastes, enough to look interesting but not so much that it looks like they\'re serviced by the mechanic that switched the water pump on my van 8 times (retards!).

Well done, and you REALLY made good use of not only the airbrush but the FW book.

Now, as an airbrush fan myself I find I use it more and more. How benificial do you find it on projects non vehicle related at 28mm? I\'ve been finding excuses to use it on models, but still only really use it on RnF models or BIG 28mm stuff. But I would never go without one if I had a choice again!

great, glad to see some more good results with that model of airbrush.

re. smaller than HUUGE stuff at 28mm scale, I painted the highlights on the poster on the wall behind alyx with it:

they don\'t come out very clear on the picture, but it was good fun :)

I\'ve actually been using it to paint almost all of a couple of 52mm scale models. Hooray for masking!
