So many projects, so little time...

Hello fellow painters!

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but I have so many projects left to finish that it's kind of intimidating on where to start.

But I have decided to push on and finish them, I would like your thoughts on what could be improved and what might be the best piece for competition.

Thanks

David

i find it a bit strange to paint a mini in pieces on the sprue, kind of hard to find light directions etc not to mention the cleaning of the areas where its connected to the sprue, suppose you cleaned the mouldlines already?

not bad painting though! my fav here is the nurgle champ and the dkok.

Crystal Brush

Hello All and Thanks in Advance,

Well I have found out that I need to use the timer setting on my camera to get the sharpest pictures, otherwise they come out slightly blurry like above.

Anyways, I have decided to enter Crystal Brush to further challenge myself and learn from the greatest painters in the world. Not expecting anything at all, just some fun out of Crystal Brush, and I also enjoy looking at my miniature in the cases next to the really great ones. I feel it gives my miniatures some "painting gods mojo."

Anyways I have two entries and here is the picture of the Nurgle Lord, still need to fix some more things, C&C very much welcome.

Thanks

David

while you may not win in the CB, but all the minis look really great. Talent you have. :)

I'd also like to ask: why painting on the sprues? cutting the parts off / cleaning at least that part (and possibly missed parts) takes a lot of extra work, no?

Thanks MAXXxxx, Yes like I said no expectations in CB, but I am very happy that I finally am going to have more finished pieces, I also checked out your gallery and really love the Alahan Army, and the A girl and her dog pieces. The bases and detail are very cool.

As for painting on the sprues, I was using that because I felt it helped me hold the piece better, but have since dumped that idea and have a miniature vice now to hold the mini parts.

Thanks

David
