Well I have been hit by the recession and now work in a job that is slowly sucking out my soul for about 50% of what I earned 2 tears ago. My wife tells me she doesn\'t love me and we are separating. It is hard to see life ever being overly satisfying.

BUT I did just have my $40k debt to the inland revenue wiped out (due to how shit my life is otherwise) so I will be debt free hopefully in 2 years and so at 40 I will be able to start from scratch. At least I have bourbon.

Besides, isn\'t possession WP\'s job? Maybe that\'s just entrancement.

As someone in your situation (the sucky part) I can tell you starting from scratch is way cool. You can do what YOU want and get what YOU want and take your time and do it right and no one can give you any crap about it. I know the breakup sucks. They always do. But enjoy the freedom while you can.

To be honest, you sound better off without the mrs. I\'d take the opportunity to enjoy being single again. Drink bourbon and play Xbox in yer pants without having to worry :)

I thought I hadn\'t seen you about much of late. That\'s a full-on situation. As has been said, let\'s hope this is the start of a better chapter. Surely that\'s the worst of it over, and with the wipe-out as well, things will be clearer. And age has fark all to do with anything. I\'m not sure if I caught a little bit of self-knocking in your post about having to start again at 40. I hope you don\'t see it like that mate. Age is irrelevant. Good luck with it all :)

I just hope Wales don\'t compound your misery by beating NZ in Nov :D. Actually, that\'s very unlikely lol

OK so things got worse. My wife who I thought I had arranged a good deal with about looking after the kids had a melt down today because I tried to arrange for my mother to have the boys over night to give her a night off.

Threatened to take my boys and leave the city. Then while I was out seeing the lawyer my stupid arse father takes her keys off her and detains her for 15 minutes.

Now our relationship goes from slightly difficult to completely impossible.

Dude. It sucks.

My wife works at divorce court so I hear all the stories, and yours isn\'t so bad. You married her, and you got kids, so hopefully you can both come together and get something sorted out when the emotions get settled.
