This was a great year !!

In 17yrs of being with my wife this is the
first time she has bought me Miniatures for
Christmas.

She in return recieved a 10yr aniversery ring. (dated for 7yrs married for 10yrs)

A vacuum cleaner (which I needed so badly)
Star Wars DVD box set
A jacket and shirt
a couple good books

most importantly time with my whole family and about a week off work (paid)!

Nothing Mini related, in fact the week away even killed my momentum on my latest project...hopefully I\'ll be able to find it again tonight!

And despite managing to come down with a cold, it was quit a satifying holiday!

And the joy of seeing my kids\' eyes when the 4-yr old saw his first big kids\' bike, and the 13-yr old saw her very own DVD player (so she doesn\'t have to ask mom and dad anymore)

- a couple of martini glasses
- a couple of extra plates (two regular and two soup bowls)
- wall paper (yes, I\'m re-decorating...)
- a bottle of home-made liqour

... and lot\'s of food and beer (lager ). It\'s been a good christmas. And I\'ll probably get a considerable raise in salary sometime this spring.

OK, second try.

I got a Razheem Diorama from Cheryll. It rocks. In return I gave her a really bad \"Cute little dragons sit around on an unnaturally green piece of meadow\" that looks as if someone threw up on the dragons because I am doing something terribly wrong trying to paint on Resin. Seriously, I repainted those guys more than 2 dozen times and that was the best I could do. There are also 3 more, but I thought it would be best if Cheryll painted those...

I got the Inkubus of Mid Nor Box, Cry Havoc 1+2, Syd de Kaiber Novel+Mini, Rackham Calendar 2005, a preparated tabletop plate which I just have to finish up, a Game Cube with Zelda:Windwaker and Mario Cart. Then, the coolest present, a theater ticket for Goethe:Faust on th 30th of December.
Yeah, all of my presents rule . And no GW stuff *happy*

GOt some decent stuff and a fair sized haul, but would\'ve traded it all for a chance to go see me boys.

Not a bad holiday though, I suppose. Got to talk to them for about 3 hours between Friday and Saturday. Unusual Christmas in that they (in Dallas) had snow and I (in Upstate New York) didn\'t ???

• seeing my aunt and uncle
• suprising my mom by singing at midnight mass

and christmas was wonderful!

My hubby got a cradle for his iPaq (much better than plugging wires in every time we want to sinc-up.
an SD card with twice the memory of the old one so he can have more music
and a gift card he used to get gifts at that store to get stuff for his parentslollol

but mostly we got kids who did great during the Christmas eve kids\' service, and behaved decently through all the rushing and business of this time of year.
Kids are great!

The most fun was the gag gifts at my family\'s Christmas. I\'ll tell if someone asks:flip::bouncy::flip:

Best thing for me was getting to fly out to see my parents for the first time in almost a year. And on top of that, my sister (who I rarely even speak with) somehow knew to send me some Reaper master series paints. I was touched that she must have spent some effort just to find them, not knowing anything about our hobby.

Don\'t worry! It\'s not moonshine or anything. It\'s a liqour made from a sort af berries (don\'t know the name in English) that my parents grow in their garden. It could get you drunk as hell, but it\'s not the kind of stuff you drink loads of...
