gag gifts
Gag (joke) gifts are a relatively new tradition for my family, but it has been a lot of fun!
This year the two funniest ones were the one from me and the one from my brother
My brother rigged a box to trigger an inflatable mattress to inflate when the box is opened. He also rigged the shut off not to work.

Mine was a pain really, I like duct tape.
My niece-in-law picked mine, great sense of humor! a medium sized box wrapped in red foil wrapping with a note: open if you dare, heh, heh, heh.
After that, four sides of the box were completely covered with duct tape, and the large sides had biohazard warning signs on them, one side was a letter of warning. it stated things like psychotic break and has been known to cause catatonic state in certain test subjects, but I didn\'t save it
so I don;t remember what all it had. She got through that (read the letter out loud and almost all of the 35 people in the house came to see...
a shoe box COMPLETELY covered on duct tape!
it took a while, there were a lot of jokes about there being a roll of duct tape being the gift, or that it was empty... but she got through that only to open the box and at first, it looked empty, but the package was taped to the lid of the box (I\'m tellin\' ya, had to be there, but) everyone laughed!

she got the package of the lid, and had to get through 7 or 8 layers of tissue paper, but no more duct tape...
she finally got through and it was a barney boogey music cd!
(For those of you who don\'t know, Barney is an insidious beast that kids under 5 yrs love and most parent want to shoot themselves in the head after 5 minutes:flame:! )
