So what do you want next?

Actually, with \"terrain\" I was thinking of doing things for dios/vignettes

This seems like a good idea, and probably more suited to what most of us are doing anyway. Like you said, there are more than enough existing books and articles on making wargames terrain.
An article on terrain in dioramas, including placement, amount of terrain to use etc would be very cool

Yeah I want to second the motion about having more articles about terrain.
Motion you say? I know just what you need. We\'ll have to start at an airforce base in canada, where we\'ll board one of their planes. From there, we\'ll track down the motion to it\'s source...

How about an ethnic mini with dirty clothes in some sort of terrain diorama thingy?

And you could just record some usual newbie mumbling stuff to play as background music, with a Chorus of La La La La.

:pwhy do I get the mental picture of a beefy barbarian mini bend over a washtub, scrubbing out those stubborn blood stains from his best loincloth.lol

I like the sound of that Crusty! My previous comments about terrain were largely to do with all the stuff you mention above, but....terrain for the mini painter, as opposed to terrain for the mini gamer....is an entirely different concept.
25mm terrain...a worthy challenge:D

what next

ethnic skintones me
dirty cloth me
newbie me. There aren\'t enough noob articles in the world, and there is always something to be learned, no matter how small, how insignificant, it\'s all good.

i agree. there need to be more noob articles. a good one on blending would be nice. i seem to have much trouble blending and would like to learn the best way how. as a matter of fact lack of blending seems to be the main comment on most of the lower scoring minis.

Okay, how about this (he says, trying to rescue his precious thread  ) an
on miniature light source article... I know, I know, Vicky Lamb made her\'s and nothing against it, but it\'s about one page long..
So I\'m thinking of doing something a bit more comprehensive. My veiw might not be the correct or greatest, but then again, it
probably wasn\'t for NMM, SENMM, Spices on bases, See-thru clothing, Painting Gems,
Airbrusing, etc, etc, etc,..... :p
