still do!!
been plenty of feisty women through the ages, granted not as many as men but the women are often remembered more. cleopatra, boudicca, joan of ark, elizabeth I and so on, plus you would have an extra thousand years worth of knowledge on how to get men to do what you want. the bit of them you use is still in the same place!!

They\'d probably still burn you at the stake for those things.

At that time they burned nobody! (First \"official\" witch burnings were in 13th century, the start of the glorious inquisition...)

They were getting ready for the first crusade in 1096.
So I guess I would take with me a book about the technique of how to do damascan steel and then we will see how far the first crusade will go.

And I wouldn\'t even have to leave my hometown (Steyr), cause at that time it was famous for its swordsmithing. Now its a shadow of its past...

Hey and perhaps I can write in the back of the book the names of the people who have the glory idea for inquisition!?
Can Mike come with me with his thermo nuclear goodie for the pope? Perhaps we can give it to some other good guys?

But wait...than there will be no crusade(s)!? Oh my god, this is so complicated. Do something good for mankind or make something good for yourself in medieval 100% gold.

Hmm, I go for gold! :p

Hmm, perhaps a good English->Destination language dictionary would probably be the safest bet. I doubt I could change history, let alone, for the better, no matter what amazing invention I took back, so my best bet would probably be to get comfortable, learn the language ASAP and maybe make the lives of one little village more pleasant for a while by suggesting a few basic amenities they didn\'t know about yet.

Boring, I know... so maybe also a flamethrower ;)
