She\'s been finished for quite some time now, but I just recently put her up here.
I want to say thanks for all the help on osl I got from all of you, it worked out pretty well I think :)

Its got flames coming out of it...of course its a flamer! hehe
I do like the little shrine at the top of the banner, the woodwork is very nice and the candles too, I like the little bit of light sourcing there too. Nice statue with the marble effect.
One thing I thought was as the candles were ever so close to the wood you could put some charring on it? Just a thought.
Very nice.

Nice job! Well worth an 8. I have to agree, though, that the banner is the weakest part of the mini. The rest look nice, though, and the OSL effect works out well.

I think you have cracked the OSL but the flames still don\'t look realistic. This is not a criticism, you have to be a God (ess) to pull this effect off convincingly...;)

Victoria has come closest IMO...but then again...she is a goddess:D

Yeah, the flames were a nightmare to do, it\'s really really hard. I lost count of how many times I repainted them, finally I just said \"this\'ll have to do\". And I agree that Victoria is the absolute goddess of painting flames. Well, just painting anything actually :D I so wanted to go to GenCon Indy to meet her...well, maybe some day I\'ll be able to afford to go to GD Australia. *sigh*

yet again titles are misleading.

Well, my outburst was uncalled for...but in my defense, I posted mine 27 minutes before Cento\'s, so I naturally assumed....

Mostly me, though. :D

Yeah, I don\'t use Internet Explorer. I use Firefox, which means I have access to the wonderous feature \"Tab Browsing\". When looking at a gallery or topic forum, I can open up links as a tab in the current browser with a single middle mouse button click. SO, I just quickly click each subject I am interested in and then go and read them.

Since I am also in my office at work and doing other things, it means there is sometimes a lag between me opening a thread and actually reading it or responding. ;)

Ah! Another tab user! It\'s a beautiful thing, isn\'t it? Makes it all a lot easier....I can\'t believe I ever used IE.

I think the OSL and the flames are excellent. A great job using a difficult technique.

I gave it a 9, but I\'m thinking about going back and adding a 10 to make it a 9.5.

p.s. I don\'t think the face is too red at all. It looks just right.
