Very good color selection and set up. He looks somewhat darker and more \"worn\", for lack of a better word, than eldar normally do, and I like that. He face looks kind of old and I don\'t know if eldar ever look that way. Maybe he could have used a single area with some bright color to add some contrast, but maybe the waystone or the green belt do that IRL.

I also like the overall, dark atmosphere of this miniature. It suits the 40k universe very well.
My only point of critique is are the metallics on the sword and the rifle on his back. This looks too much like a metallic basecoat with a black ink wash over it. Some additional shading and highlighting might give it more contrast. Right now it looks a bit too flat, especially when compared to the gold areas of the armour.

Keeping my Promise 
I have to agree with Corvus in respect to the Metallics on the figure\'s weapons. To me they could do with an extra level of Highlighting.
However the overall \'Gritty\' approach to this mini is very much a different take on the Eldar and it works very well.

i love him. the drab/realistic colour scheme normally doesn\'t work on eldar but it really rocks on this one. i agree a highlight or two on the metal would help as they just look flat as they are

Very good colour scheme and a nice looking mini.
Two things:
The pics look a bit over compressed and are spoiling my viewing pleasure a little by obscuring the finer detailing on the fig.
The metallics could do with a tweak of contrast and a splash of different colour somewhere to break them up. Maybe just introduce some subtle glazes of similar colours to the ones on the figure itself - dark green would work well if you used it to shade the metals.
