Nice job on the death figure, although everyone knows death would play on a cherry sunburst colored guitar:guitar:

Anything new going on?

I dig the reaper, and the fun you had painting it really comes across in your posts.

Keep it coming!

Yes, death was a lot of fun to paint, especilaly since He is such a cool character in books;-)
Now I'm working on some Intercessors, and to be honest, they are not as great as the price would suggest - the moulding is not that great ( but not terrible, by far), the plastic is abit too soft to my taste and the blue color is weird to work on. Dragon models makes way btetter moulded kits for a smaller price.
But they look sooo cool xD
I don't have anything worth showing now, its just glue and plastic;-)

A lovely paint job on Death, one of the best characters in one of my fave book series. Terry Pratchett, what an author.

Yes, so sad that he ia no more.
So i noticed that I had some cultists primed, so I got to work on them, not the primaris.
Im going for the boxart look on this one.

Hi, thanks:)
so, I kinda gave up on cultist, got bored of him. But in the meantime, I did this guy:
open

The skulls are decals i painted over btw, I can't freehand for shit:)
I wonder. why do they use holsters? I think in the lore, their guns are magnetically attached to armour.
Also, please advise on weathering - what should I do? Dust? Heavier wash on the legs? He seems too clean, but I somehow I cant tell what will look good on him.
The color is Vallejo dunkelgelb (german WWII dark yellow :))

Ok, so calling this one done. Added a bit of dirt / dust on his legs to tie him into the base more.
I need to devise a better lighting solution than what I have at the moment, clearly:/
Still, pretty happy about this guy, this was my first time edge highlighting in the 'game mini' way.

Is the coat made of flesh? Is he made out of coat? All he knows is that he must kill.

So initially I wanted to paint this coat dark pink (if there is such a color xD) / reddish but that just didn't want to work, so decided to make this a bit more freaky. So far I'm happy with the results The folds make it really hard for me to shade / highlight for some reason. I'll darken the cowl a lot when I get to it

Nice job on the marine, I like the chipped armor and weathered leather. Crisp!
Flesh-coat-guy looks pretty cool. I have a suggestion: paint some freehand lines with a darker flesh color on the coat, to break it up into large-ish patches. Then put some small brown stitch-marks across the patch edges, so it looks like he patched the coat together from his victims. Too gory? :D

Oh man, thats a good idea! but I don't think I can pull it off successfully:-\ I was however thinking of adding some light veins and reddish discolourations to make it look more sickly.

So, some progress. Transitions look better IRL,
I think I took pictures with a too high resolution:p
I wanted to paint the hands a sickly yellow, but they just look weird, and I don't really have an idea on what to do with them.

Looks nice! For sickly skin tones I tend to use reaper's undead skintone triad: 9148 Ghoul Skin, 9149 Moldy Skin, and 9150 Bloodless Skin. They mix well with other skin tones to add that unhealthy pallor to just about anything. They are a bit more green than yellow though, so maybe not what you are looking for...

maybe go in with some green glazes or shade on the hands to differentiate the colors a little bit between the hand and wrappings

Tank is looking good! If you are going for accurate military colors though I think the green is a little too bright and the brown is a little too red (at least based off the link you cited). I keep wanting to do either a tank or plane, but I keep putting it off because I don't want to deal with all the pieces.
