They are also expecting some aurora borealis all over the world. For 3-4 days the weather has been fine, but exactly tonight it started raining. So this nice spectacle takes place behind thick clouds :flame:

Just as a heads up to all my brothers and sisters here at CMON - expect issues with your cell phones - I do support for cell phones and the flare is causing static issues. I know I dont have to tell you guys, but we\'ve been getting calls on this all damn day.

dear god, this is the weirdest thing ever. I just realised that your username is steelcult, I\'ve been reading it steelcut this whole time...weird. I also always read the name of that space marine painting competition as \"boring into friendly competition.

Hmm, its a religious reference from Robert Adams, not a way to chop oats. lol

AH! Sorry Sir Cult, I thought it was in reference to the James Earl Jones character in the CONAN the BARBARIAN movie. Wasn\'t he part of the cult of steel or the riddle of steel or something similar?

What is the reference in your moniker to?

Yeah, we\'re on opposite sides of the world and we\'ve still got the same weather problem. The weather gods are against us, Corvus!

Here in San Francisco, a big storm is brewing too.
I hear that they\'ve already lost a satelite. oh my god! as i write this, the first lightning just went! oh man, I don\'t want to lose power. Eek, this is scary weather to be soon watching \"28 days later\" in!

The solar flare has left me crabby and irritable . . . . :flame:

I should be doing my homework now but the seductive lure of CMON has me in it\'s vile grip . . .

It\'s been a blizzard going on two days here.... No Northern Lights this time.

Yes, there was the whole cult of steel thing in Connan the Barbarian. However, my moniker is a refference to Robert Adams Horseclans Series - a series of post nuclear holocost novels with a mideaval twist. In the novels, mercenaries from the Middle Kingdoms (Pennsylvania, portions of Ohio, New York, and New Jersey) worship the Steel God, especially those forces from Pitzburk, which is a major source for steel.

Now we all know, and knowing is half the battle. :Dlol:D

Yesterday it was raining, today I don\'t think it is, Haven\'t really looked outside yet because it was the beer fest last night and I feel a little delicate (though not as bad as I expected):innocent:

i don\'t think so, even I\'m very envious of you, it sounds really cool. I lost power last night, right in the middle of posting on CMON. But the big irony (jinx) was that I was talking with a friend online, and said \"I hop we don\'t lose power\" and the second I said that, we did. I was shaking all night (power outage+storm+28 days later=scary!). Apparently another satelite was lost, but it hasn\'t been too bad so far. I\'m more frightened about the fires of California (though luckily it\'s nowhere near me).
