Some Confrontation stuff...

Hey folks,

I finally got around to posting some Confrontation stuff I've done so far...
Definitely a step up in difficulty compared to most GW minis, IMHO.
Also, my first tentative steps in the field of NMM, and I seem to still struggle with NMM steel, it def. needs more blue in it. Oh well.
Anyway, if you'd like to vote / C&C, here are the links:

I reckon if you'd not put the obvious dark line on the scythe, where the flat of the blade meets the tapered edge, you would be well on your way. Without tat it'd look a lot more believable as metal. I'm biting the bullet on NMM myself simply because I know it can be done and it's so difficult to do ;) Keep practising, so far you're doing phenomenally well. Better then my attempts.

Yeah, in hindsight i should have done the ridge in white instead the dark tone, but hindsight is 20/20, as they say...
Thanks for the comments so far, keem 'em coming!

neat stuff! i see much of the NMM lack contrast, which is very important to make it look believable. and the gold looks yellow, especially on the Onyx guy (still much better than my first try at NMM :D )
i suspect again that the photos not doing this lot real justice though.

You know, better pics would go a long way.
You've got some really good pieces that your lighting is washing out.
