Hope you feel better soon

Personally, I\'m just waiting for the mall to open up so I can go get a \"little something\" to drop in the mail. :D

I hope it finds you in increasing health.

Can\'t say I know you Faye, but I know what you mean about your extended CMON family. I\'ve made a couple of very good friends here, and that was in the direst of times (though nothing like your predicament).

Good luck and chin up gal!

All the best Always

Damn it Faye, you brought a tear to my eye:( which wouldn\'t be so bad but I\'m at work . Haven\'t been on as much lately and just saw this message from you.

While I have no religion I am spiritual and believe in powers beyond our own. Therefore, I will pray sincerlely for you.

You will be soely lmissed during your (hopefully brief) hiatus. You are a wonderful person with an abundance of talent and a unique & distincive style. Even more impressive though is the depth of your mind, heart and soul. Please come back to us as quickly as your health allows.

Faye...

I, too, am not religious, but I will be sending all the positive energy and thoughts your way that I have.

\"Stubborn\" helps, too! But if there\'s any justice, we\'ll see you back here soon!

-Daniel.

perspective...

sorry I didn\'t see this post til just now....

Things like this kind of put our little worries and gripes right into place don\'t they?

It won\'t be long until we all get to see your butt shaking avatar gracing the forums again, but until then, I will keep you in my thoughts...

take care and be strong.

Just had a brief message from Faye (part of a response on an Ebay auction we won. Woohoo.)

I also thank you both for the card and I am sore and tired, but very much alive!!!!One day at a time, I will ask for no more. God bless, Faye
.

I\'m going to email her for some more details and post them here on her behalf. I know all you out there will be joining my Wife & I in sending our best wishes to Faye.

Thanks, DR !

Despite my recent grumblings elsewhere about all the \"good news\" being tossed around, this truly IS good news and gives me something extra to be thankful for tomorrow (Thanksgiving of course over here).

Well I emailed Faye to find out how she is doing and I got the reply below, which I promised to share with you all. As you can see, the news while still not 100% perfect, sounds better than we\'d feared. So here it is:-

I am home again, but I think I\'ve placed the doctors in a difficult dilemma. It seem they were not comfortable with the odds either? At any rate, instead of open-heart surgery, they opted for another catheterization, in which they navigated their way up from the major artery in my groin, to place additional stents into the arteries of my heart to keep them open....hopefully, the arteries won\'t find another way to collapse so quickly this time. It will buy me some time and who knows, perhaps they\'ll come up with a more inovated, PLAN B.

All I know is, it takes a lot to keep me down and life is simply too precious not to live it to the fullest...I may be grounded from flying, but I\'m definitely NOT excluded from LIFE...Whoo Hoooo! I\'m gonna celebrate and find me a husband!) You wouldn\'t happen to know anybody with the mind of Stephen Hawking, Albert Einstein and Leonardo da Vinci; the inquisitive nature of a child untainted by the world\'s cruelty; and the heart of a poet. And, if he happens to say, We haven\'t been to the mall in ages, let\'s go shopping and I can hold your purse, or screw Monday Night Football, let\'s watch Sophie\'s Choice again, that\'d be a plus!) If not, no problem. I\'m still living in semi-retirement heaven with time on my hands to sculpt and paint!

Thank you again for all the kindness and well-wishes provided. It seems to have worked for now and I am entirely grateful!

Love,
Faye

Now if there\'s anybody who thinks they fit Faye\'s ideal for a husband, PM me and I\'ll put you in contact. The Fee is, of course, negotiable. :D

My mother went through a similar operation recently (though for a blockage rather than arteries collapse). Having seen the pain and uncertainty that has caused I hope Faye\'s recovery is swift, and a better method of treatment found soon.

Faye,

I have clearly been away from the site for too long to have missed this ... my thoughts are with you and if it were possible to find someone like you\'ve described he\'d surely be lucky to have been found by someone like you.

All my best,
jim

Merci beacoup and thank you to all...

....You all have proven my point by the wonderful outpouring of well-wishes, prayers and positive energy. Didn\'t I tell you what a great community this was to be associated with??:flip::bouncy: :flip: Wow, my coordination and speed\'s not quite up to par, as I had considerable difficulty catching that bouncing smiley face!:( Oh well, one day at a time.

@Drangonsreach(Mike&Fran): A special thanks to you and Fran for the Get Well card and please know, the warmth you generate is palpable from where I sit.

@Cerridwyn1st(Melanie): Do you realize just how generous a gift you gave to me? I hope this does not embarrass you, for that is certainly not my intention. You gave a part of yourself to me and I\'m sure many are not aware of your special talent....This woman has a very gifted, soprano voice and I assume that\'s your equally talented husband playing the accompaniment on the hammered dulcimer? Thank you for such a thoughtful gift. I will treasure it always!

Sincere thanks and gratitude to one and all,
Faye
