Some more of my figures

Great start on all of those minis!

My favorite is the cherub (I think thats how it\'s spelled, the 4th one down). Skintone is very nice, the ribbon, metallics are great. The one thing I think could be done is that the feather\'s require a little more depth. This could be as simple as applying a light wash.

My next favorite is the Witch Hunter (2nd one down, with the red vest). Great blending on this one, especially on the red. That is a tough color to do good.

Your highlighting is precise on all of these figures. Precision is the key to doing good highlights. Some may brag about having dozens of layers of color in one small area, but without precision it just looks sloppy.

I would reccomend taking it a step further and look at some of the layering articles here, to improve your stuff even more.

Basically, just do what you are normally doing, but take it a few more, thinned layers inbetween steps.

Think of these highlights as layers in a pyramid. The basecoat is the bottom layer, and each highlight covers a smaller and smaller area. The \"smoother\" the sides of the pyramid, the better the effect. (Thats the best way I can think of explaining it)

I like the cherub best too and I like the wings just as they are :D

I\'m also with TaintedBrush on the layers thing- a few more layers would improve your \'blending\' between base and highlight colours.
