They look pretty good; nice, clean paint jobs. Are the emblems on their shoulder pads decals of some kind or is it freehand?

I don\'t know what happened yesterday, but the pics show up on my screen - are they still not showing on yours?
The markings on the shoulderpads are decals from the spacewolves transfersheet - takes to long time doing it freehand. Did freehand on some other marines, you can see in the gallery.

I\'ve still got an X. Maybe it\'s a browser thing. I\'m using Internet Explorer (since I\'m at work and don\'t have a choice) right now.

jaysis - now none of them show up here. I use yahoo as a host, think i\'ll try and find somewhere else

And like 5 sec. later they both showed up - don\'t know what happened

tried a different host - did that help?

Just checked the properties on your pic. For some reason the url has a ? at the end. If you eliminate that it may work.

Plus the picture is massive. Perhaps the forum can\'t handle such large pictures (that I\'m not sure on).

Looks to be all good. Congrats.

Edit: now that the pics there I should probalby take a look and comment...

Nice clean job. You used a darker grey then most and I like that. The exterem edge highlighting is not a style I personally favour though. The snow is effective but could use to be broken up by something, some rocks maybe.

thanks for the help and the comments, one of my aims was to get them darker and more grey than the standard spacewolf/smurf. I am trying to add rocks/stones to most of the bases now, if you look in the gallery you can see it at least on one of them. http://www.coolminiornot.com/149656

Hinton obviously has super-powers, I can\'t see them either:no:

 Yep, I have the ability to see pictures that others can\'t. lol

Seriously, I don\'t know how I was seeing them and others couldn\'t.

I can see them now too... so either the links are working or Hinton\'s \'superpowers\' are spreading...!

Don\'t have a lot to add really, like the dark tones, don\'t like the stark and clean snow... nice work overall though!

These guys look pretty good for gaming minis. I\'m not sure I like the metallics on the backpacks but that\'s personal preference and not technique. Overall pretty nice.

got a point with the backpacks - not sure myself, any suggestions?

I think the backpacks look good the same color as the armor. Maybe I\'m just a fluff cultist or something. :D As I said, I don\'t think it really takes away from your paintjob, I just prefer them not to be metallic.
