Is she nursing the rest?
Keeping them warm?

She seems to be getting it. We locked her in the bathroom with the remaining three for a while. Don\'t want her moving them to wherever and the three were a bit dehydrated (actually almost lost the whole lot) so hopefully this will make sure they get their fill. Something how these little critters can have such an impact on me.

Sorry to hear they didn\'t all make it :( I\'m not a cat person but I know how much pets mean to people. I don\'t know what I\'d do without my little Peanut! lol

If you really think they\'re dehydrated maybe you should contact your vet. Those tiny kittens have virtually no extras they can rely on. If they don\'t drink enough or the mother has no milk (or doesn\'t let the kittens drink) they can rapidly become very ill.

If you\'re not sure, check their weight every day. The standard is they should gain weight every day. If they stay the same or even lose weight, that\'s not good. Sometimes you need to force feed them.

Good luck with them!

PS it is quite uncommon that cats have birth problems, unless you have one of those big faced persian cats with only one or two huge kittens inside. Or the mother cat is very ill during delivery or something.

(in case you\'re wondering, I\'m a vet :))
