Hello, and might I say, what a wonderful site this is! I haven't painted a miniature in over 15 years, but I have done some miniature buildings....

The buildings are solid chocolate, painted with colored coco-butter fired through an air brush or brushed with synthetic rounds. They are in the 10mm scale range.

Cheers!

Yup! There are three types of trees. 1 is a sugar based sculpy like substance. If you've ever had those pre-formed decorations on a cake, (think numbers and things like that in the baking isle at the grocery store) they taste like that. The other two were chocolate based, one white chocolate, the other mint white chocolate. I had to air brush the sugar stuff, but the chocolate held pigments pretty well.

All told, this was a banquet desert that fed 200+ people. Six types of chocolate, about 35 lbs or so. 4.5 x3
