I like a lot of the wild west stuff turning up at the moment.. A friend of mine is really into it and has commissioned my help to build a deadwwod Gaming board with lots of hyper detailing and dioramas...gonna be fun and will definitely be showing progress on this site....

Black Scorpion and Artisan are doing some very nice Wild West stuff. Very quick and fun to paint as well.

Legends of the west isn\'t a bad game either. Very quick and action packed.

I\'m gonna have to check out western style minis, I quite like those.

Deadwood should be renamed \"Cusswood\", watched it for the first time last night and was stunned by the constant stream of cussing. I used to think I had a pottiemouth, sheesh.

Yep JTY can paint.
He\'s Jonathan Taylor-Yorke, former GW Bolton \\ Stockport \\ Preston staffer and Golden Deamon winner. Silver in 40K Squad with a great Space Wolves Squad, can\'t remember what year though. (Not that long ago either).

JTY had been, up until this year, in charge of the GW Conflict Manchester painting Competitions and Judging.

His work reminds me very much of Sturmhalo\'s, if a little more direct. Right up my street is that sort of style. I\'d even suggest that he paints like how I try to paint, though he produces a much cleaner and smoother result.

He won 2000, I have the WD. I didn\'t think it was that great though, even back then. But I liked and still like the style. However, he has done far better stuff later, just look at his gallery. That Chaos champion is ace!
