Song Ideas for Becca

Off Off topic again...
We got the Alicia Keys, she can belt it right out, but we waver as to whether or not this is the right choice.
Can you think of some songs (pop/top 40) that use a tremendous amount of range and sustained notes? Those are Becca\'s strong points. If we get a few ideas from here, we\'ll put a page on our website with the top choice recordings, you all can listen to Becca and vote on which she should use for her audition.

This could be a hard one!!I\'ve been racking my brains for 10 minutes now.....nothing!I just got exited thinking I had a valid entry then with Shakespeare Sister-Stay with me....but it\'s unlikely there\'s an instumental from then.Is there any specific style we should be thinking of?Does it have to be a solo artist?Lastly I presume It\'ll have to be recent\'ish so you can get an instrumental???(Don one-Solo mafia)lol

O.K.Anything by Dido(meloncholy,yet beautiful),Nelly Furtado(Lively Latino\'ish),Joss Stone(Soulful,husky!)The market is wide open for decent,credable female singers right now,god if only she wanted to rap something,I\'d be much more help.And if you can dig it I think Beyonce(the vocal queen herself) made a solo album,ooh and Lauryn Hill,formerly of the Fugees,she has the finest voice ever!And she\'s Hip-Hop,bonus!Anyway I\'ll keep my ears open and see what others think(Don one-Solo mafia)

That could be all made fresh again- people haven\'t heard it in a while and Stay With Me is a big sustainy song if I\'ve heard one. Good call there in my books.
You could look at some Annie Lennox stuff too- husky and sweet tones, you\'d blow minds if you could do that and it would be very hip++++
