hi everyone! i was recently in the market for a minis skirmish game, so thatmy minis could see some more use other than their occasional D&D appearance, and i stumbled upon this (well reviewed) wonderful little indie game: Song of Blades and Heroes.
a simple but deep miniatures game that works with ANY fantasy minis you might have on hand. it plays fast and fun - AND IT ONLY COSTS $4. so i bought it (as a pdf) - and love it. so much so, that i bought all the supplements as well. i thought that others in the mini community might appreciate a game like this, so i decided to give the game some good press here on CMON (im not affiliated in any way, other than being a fanboy).
the same company, Ganesha Games , also makes a few other variants: faith and fear (horror, zombies etc), mutants and ray-guns (post apocalyptic sci-fi <looks at vike>), flying lead (modern), and a SoBH variant for napoleonic fights. check it out! you just might love it (everyone else seems to).
in fact, its inspired me! i now have plans for a few fun warbands i can use with the game. yay painting!
