Tom Meier is mentioned on the George RR Martin site as being the main sculptor on the 28mm figures, and they have a picture of the first 54mm figure as well (done by Meier). It is in the News section.

And the mini is beatiful, but 54mm is not my scale.
Can\'t wait for the 28mm ones!

If It\'s Tom meier I will be buying them. Don\'t know about committing to another game system though. But definitely getting meier\'s minis!

I agree with Supervike, competition is good. Testors may be able to give the giant(s) a run for their money.
