Sonic Weapon? D&D related question

Oh, nonsense. If it\'s vibrating, and done in NMM, you can steal another comic-art bit... the motion lines, done in fishing line coated in glue to stiffen it, and then painted black.

:D

Then you can cut out the sound effect (\"ZZCHREEEEE\" for instance) in plasticard, paint it in bright colours and stick it on! lol

Like anything it wants to?

Consider the \"singing sword\" from the Bugs Bunny cartoon ... an ordinary thin looking longsword that would vibrate almost out of bugs\' hands when it started singing.

On the other hand, I would go for a lot of overlapping \"scream\" faces on the blade.

Or it could have a cute little hedgehog on the pommel ... (this is not the sonic you are looking for ... move along)

On the other side of the odd, you could have it a large two handed sword with two small organ pipes on ether side of the blade. (As in swinging the sword causes the pipes to sound.)

Ideas

Sword with a hole in the middle to work like a whistle.
Sword with a face painted on the side singing.
Sword pomel shaped like a woman singing as in the traditional singing harp image
Sword pomel shaped like a megaphone
Cross guards like little speakers and the word \"BOSE\" painted on the blade.

Well! Those were some creative ideas. Whistles, organs (the kind you play, I mean...Ah, come on, you know what I mean), Bose, megaphones. Along these lines, I was thinking of the huge speaker that blows Michael J. Fox away at the beginning of Back to the Future. lol

Hmm, somehow I was conceptualizing the sonic damage differently, as something more like a thunderclap. The character is a shadowdancer who comes out of the shadows at just the right moment and BOOM! Hits you upside the head and then disappears into the shadows again. The figure I\'m painting for him is perhaps the coolest one ever (for a stealthy elfy): Aenur

The (new) question is, I guess, how do you paint a thunderclap? ???
