Hey CMoN forum members!! I\'d like to apologize for preaching my lifestyle and stirring up so much trouble as a new poster a couple days ago.. To those of you I insulted, I am truly, deeply sorry. From my very first post, I had NO INTENTION of offending ANYONE when I posed the question of \"Are You Fat?\" I was merely trying to bring ppl\'s attention to their own physical condition, and if that in fact was a problem, that they might change or even do a minimum of trying something to change. So, sorry for the misunderstanding and bad \"net-etiquette.\" Very sorry. Even to those who agreed with me or had no problem with my post - I may not have insulted you, but i insulted your forum members so that affects you. So, again, Sorry.
Having apologized, I want to say that I did so even after receiving so many many unnecessary insults and threats (you know who you are), but to say the least, I\'m not one for retribution and I could care less - you are forgiven too.
So, I\'m going to assume we\'re squared away (even if we aren\'t), and pose another more politely-phrased question:
Are you out-of-shape?
I just want everyone to consider changing their eating and exercise habits for the better. I\'m from San Diego, CA, and at least in my community, we share a strong attitude towards healthy living. Consider that 25% of adults in America are obese or overweight, which is to me, very alarming at the least. But whenever I see anyone outside exercising, regardless of whether they are out of shape, fat, fit, or posess a god-like body, they are doing themselves a tremendous favor by staying active. If you already use most of your time for work, or for painting, or friends and family, you should always find time to do some exercise - to blow off steam from work, to get some fresh-air after painting, or get away from your friends/family - better yet, get your family and friends to join you! Anything to keep you motivated, active, and happy.
Also, as some of you were on the subject in the other thread, smoking is the leading preventable cause of death in the United States - so if you have yet to pick it up, don\'t do it. And if you already smoke, it\'s never too late to quit.
I hope this gets a better response than the last. Or maybe you\'ll be too busy out running to type a response - that\'d be great. best wishes.
