Hello,
My latest "Space Crusader" -mini was inspired by Diablo 3 reaper of Souls Crusader character. When I saw those firts promo art pictures about the crusader, I was rather excited about this new playable character. It really looked like somekind of a walking "tank", relentless killing machine with brutal flail (or a hammer in some pics) to crack some skull of the heretics. He actually looked a lot like a space marine. My original idea however, was to make a fantasy miniature. But I wasn't able to find suitable parts, and so I ended doing terminator marine conversion.
There are parts from 3 different terminator set, custom build hammer and maxmini shoulders. Paint theme follows the one we have seen in many official ROS Crusader art pictures. Black armor and white tabard with some cold trimming. Black is not that easy to paint, but I wanted to stick with that plan. I had to do the base twice, but I'm rather happy about this one.
