Good evening,

next steps : still a lot of work to do everywhere (shades, glazes, shadows, sword, base) but Bolter and Shoulderpad are painted.

Light source was too close when taking the picture : light areas are too white, I will try to do another better pic.

What did you use for that drop?
Not epoxy RESIN, Epoxy GLUE?
Yes, Epoxy glue. Using rapid drying glue (5 mns) it was easy to shape a drop : I just waited 3-4 mns for the glue to harden a bit, then applied a small drop to one end of the small optic fiber wire. I just put the wire vertical, and while curing fully for 2-3 mns, the glue took this nice drop shape.
After this, I just dipped the part in clear green paint then in clear gloss varnish.

Daily post :)

base is now finished : added some stains, dirty spots and scratched paint, as welle as some oil leaking from a wall device all the way down to the ground (with Tamiya Smoke).
The Terminator is now glued to the base... I will not add more contrast in the blue as was suggested (already reworked it a bit), I am afraid to damage the existing paint if I try to rework it once more.... Better contrast will be for the next figure.

I still have the whole sword blade to paint, so it\'s not really finished yet, I will work on it this evening.

Sword blade was painted yesterday, here is the end result :

I know there is still plenty of room for improvement but I think that overall result is not too bad, at least better than my previous figure.

I let you put a note and/or a comment if you like.

Nitpicking but there is a moudline running down the legnth of the sword.

Looks awsome, next time i would make the base a little darker.
