Hi all this is my first WIP to be posted here, looking for advice on how i can improve on the armour and suggestions for other parts of the model

As it stands at the moment the amour is 75% complete, purity seals are basecoated, face in block shaded and highlighted but will be refined and the cloak is very WIP.

The armor already looks really really good, i love the sort of comic book effect (if you know what i mean).

I guess for the banner your going need something to contrast the red, maybe the green of the cloak.

Lookin good, could maybe wash the metallic arm to give it some extra depth, maybe look at automatons tutorial on metallics.

For the banner as khaine said, also i like the extreme sharp highlighting style used, looks good.

Try adding the highlights for the scratches below rather than above. That will help create the illusion.

Thanks, just read that tutorial, totally awesome, at the moment it has had one wash of 1:1 badab black asurmen blue so a few more washes and then bringing in the highlights should help.

Darkartminiatures i see what you mean about the scratches especially the one on the knee pad, easily rectified though.

Looks cool so far. There are a few things you need to do i think....First of all i think his right leg at the bottom needs neatening out again and i think you should try doing the flesh a different colour because i think it is too similar a colour to the thingy hanging from his waist.
