tried my hands at converting a space marine commander, just wondering if u guys had any tips, specially with sculpting capes from green stuff.

Doesn\'t look bad - although it\'s hard to tell with the photo - bit out of focus, and not brilliantly lit

And I seeing a thunder hammer and bolter?

Think you have got an excellent dynamic pose, you have some some cool bits and he is not over done - so I\'d say good work. There is a good article in the archives about sculpting capes and the like.

best option for sculpting capes is doing it BEFORE priming!

thx for all the feedback guys, but yeh, i did sculpt a cape which u cant really see but i wasn\'t really pleased with how it came out, i think its kinda overly thick and static looking.

Could we get a couple different angled shots. I for one cann\'t see the cape all that well.

I don\'t think it looks too STATIC, per se, it\'s just lacking the natural folds that gather in hanging cloth

yeh i looked and couldnt find any articles on here that really were specific to cape folds
