Space Marines... What hasn\'t been done?!

Alright so I\'ve seen gladiator style marines, celtic style marines, viking style marines, camo marines, vampire marines, god knows what else. What is there left to do?

I\'m all about out of Ideas as to what I can do for something new and fresh!??? The only thing I can think of that I haven\'t seen is an 18th century foppish dandy style marine, and I really don\'t think i wanna do that!

So come on, any ideas for marines, there must be something cool and original left!?!

God its a metaphor for life, isn\'t it! This generations really scraping the barrel for inspiration!:rolleyes:

Answers for cool marine chapters go my pretties.......

I thought of doing a chapter called the Dark Knights, and adding the little Bat ears, and converting the chest plate to make em all look like Batman.:D

Straightjacket Marines, but I suppose that would be more of a Chaos thing :D
Mafia Marines, in pinstripe with tommybolters :D EDIT: Hey freakinacage, we\'re great and we know it :D Gimme five :D
MechMarines, with the armor being a solid piece - a little like terminators, but smaller and compacter.... you know what I mean ;)

Leopard skin has been done, not a whole chapter, but one of the old chaos noise marines was done in leopard print as I recall. Gangster marines also already done!

Ghost Marines? (Cut off the legs, sculpt a kind of smoke and let this come out of a bottle Bugmann\'s XXX :D )
Let\'s be honest, we even saw Marines with heads of skaven :(

Damn I can\'t even remember where I saw it, its not on here. Someone had sculpted a jacket on it and a little trilby (sp?) hat, they used an ork gun. It looked like a sack of poo but it has been done:)

I got loads

some of which date back to the 1980s and some that are fairly new ...........they haven\'t been done (assembled or painted).:D

edit* oh I see well I had an Idea but hmm maybe for games day next year.

i think its important to think about what you like outside of warhammer and build a themed army on that.
i loved g.i. joe cartoons as a kid and made my themed marines off of cobra, although i really hate playing marines, this was fun to build

I don\'T know those Cobra_Cartoons. That\'s the problem, the effect you want to create with such conversions works only in a special group of persons

Hmmm.. Zebra hide with red buffalo leather. I mean buffalo, not yak or bison. Is there such a thing a retro-africanism?

ebonbuddha: Ist that so? Space Marines covered completely in raw fish (painted of course)and a little elecrtical work to have the Marine constantly yell out \"MAAAAAAAACKAREL fresh fresh from Hamburg delicious and cheap!\" with matching smell. If it has been done, show me lol
