Space Wolf eyes...what color

I\'m painting Space Wolves in dark dark grey armor. Power weapons are red, cloth and fur are shadow grey or brown, plasma gun glow is blue.

I\'m at a loss for the eyes. I thought Yellow, but that will be hard to highlight etc. Blue? Red? Green?

Thanks for any thoughts or input.

In the one i painted i had origional done them light blue, which looked good, then changed to red. (the blue was to cloase to the armours blue shade)

Yellow would be more wolf like but as you said, harder to highlight.

Try and keep the number of colours down on the larger surfaces, but eyes should be ok to choose whatever colour you like.

I tend to have it so that all Mk 6 helmets are one colour, and Mk 7s are a different colour.

Or you could go squad by squad, rank, etc

Blue is striking, not as contrasting as red though.

Dont use a light blute, use a darker, deeper blue as it will stand out from the armor (some blacklining might help here too)

Golden yellow orchre tone would look best.

I paint my wolves wit hred eye pieces.
been thinking about a yellow look though...
Reds tried and tested, looks good. Blues not as contrasting in my opinion ^^

You could try a yellow like margo\'s archer.

Heres a pic of my rhinox\'s eye. Its a redish brown. I like thecolor myself. Would look good on a space wolf too I recon.
