I never claimed to dislike GW or like them, although in this age-old argument I would probably fall over to the latter side of the fence. READ MY POSTS in that thread, I didn\'t say whether it was a good idea. I think you are victimising me a bit here, no one is telling hashmallum how evil he is are they?

Avicenna, you\'re in danger of sounding like a bloody Church of England clergyman! Can\'t you let people express their views? A lot of people who have joined recently are young and are still growing up, so they\'re bound to rush into the usual anti-GW guff - and whatever else comes along for that matter - and whilst it can be annoying we have to accept that their minds work in a different way to someone in their late twenties, early thirties and beyond. Give them a chance to have their say and stop moaning about it! It\'ll pass!

I will proudly take my spot on the fence, and say I agree with all of you.
As Reverend mentioned, Its not the first time a group of newish members stirred things up a bit. I don\'t always agree with what people say, but its sometimes its fun to have things get mixed up here. It can get stodgy once in a while.
It is also not the first time I have been confused with Dauber. He still tries to blame me for the dreaded Word Association thread, which is the epitome of SPAM.

Marmoset, i agree its not just you - didnt mean to victimise you either - that hashmallum bloke deserves just as much of a rant by me(if not more). reading back at my posts if i was speaking proper english i would have made it clear that most of the \'you\'s were meant to be in the plural and include pretty much everyone who has been moaning about GW. Now its my turn to moan at you (plural)!
Just as an example, I know for sure it wasnt you who accused a named gw staff member of being a nazi.
oh, and \'sod off\' is much nicer than some of the language on here recently

Well I firmly believe in not pussyfooting about. Probably why Ive had a few arguments here myself in the past.
If I had checked gthe thread concerned and not just past it over as another GW moan I would have told them to bloody well grow up a bit and stop being so bloody stupid.
Peter does make a good point though. The problem is that like our GW friends with their high prices there is bugger all we can do but put up with it.
This same thing was raised a while ago and I said then that we cannot have the forums the way WE want them. They will evolve into whatever the average user wants them to be. If the majority of users are foul mouthed GW bashers then the forums will be full of foul mouthed GW bashing.
And us being the minority will have no right saying it is wrong.

So I propose a \"Pipe and Slippers\" forum section for us old gits. We can all have a seat by the windows and moan at the kids outside making too much noise.

No, really its a common occurance.....it happened so often that at one time there were a couple \'joke\' usernames that were a \'morphing\' of Dauber and I together, since we were considered to be the same person anyhow...
Lets see there was superdauber, Superdaubviker2200....
it got a little out of hand...
I never did find out who was behind those...(or did I and I forgot?)

Oh yeah, I whole-heartedly agree with you on that point. I strongly feel that the whole company being anti-semitic based on one guy is absolutely ridiculous :flame: and picking out that one guy isn\'t very nice for him either, and there is no proof. That made me pretty angry but I didn\'t say anything :innocent:

I do not know where you live, but let\'s not debate on my countries status, I just mentionned Quebec so none of my Canadian friends would think I\'m generalizing. I love Quebec but am currently moving out of it.
I recognize I\'m just a part of a cyclical renewing of the forum population, and as such accept the oldies comments with reverence. This being said, I don\'t think I need to \"bloody well grow up\", neither do I know if I was included in that sentance. General population owes a lot to activists of all kind; i\'m an activist, not a foul-mouthed GW basher. I strike at the wealthy and corrupted whenever I can. It just so happen that GW is wealthy and corrupted.
