Spare weapon in the blister pack?

Yesterday my family and I had gone to \"the big city\" and visited the game shop. We picked up some minis, some that we had been wanting and some that we had seen there for the first time. I got a set sculpted by B Jackson from their Warlord line, Daughters of the Whip, Overlord Adepts, # 14289. After I got them home I opened them up and noticed two very peculiar things. One, one of the chicks has her head turned down at a very odd angle, and secondly, both characters have weapons in their hands, but there is also a scourge in the package. I can seem to figure out where it is supposed to fit in on one of these two minis, and the Reaper site doesn\'t have any help for me. I haven\'t found anybody who has submitted these to CMON. Do you think the extra weapon was just a fluke?

with metals it used to sometimes happen. extra bits would get stuck or cling to another and be missed when sorting.

haven\'t seen it happen lately but i remember getting an extra head with something and wasnt even sure how that would happen. but a weapon has always been something made like shields that can be added.

maybe this weapon goes on one of the firgures backs but couldnt be molded onto it?

You possibly got something for nothing and you\'re complaining? LOL

However from this pic I think I can see your dilemma.
If there is nowhere obvious for it to go class it as a spare and put it in the bits box.

no complaint, DR, just confusion! lol. I do see that these minis are going to take a LOT of prep work, lots of flash and lines everywhere, not to mention that odd angle. Oh well. Life goes on.

I must admit, ive opened a few blisters and been totally confused with the contents.

Is it just me or do miniatures companies just like throwing in random \'bits box\' spares into blisters?

best one I had was a customer who had what looked like the floor sweepings in a greater demon box complete with a full compliment of various coloured hair...

neeedless to say he got a big bundle of apology type goodness.

I wish they would start throwing spare bits in my miniatures. I usually seem to be MISSING bits if anything. i.e.... four orks and 7 arms or 6 deathguard and 5 backpacks.

I am confused most of the time anyway so it wouldn\'t make a difference to me.
