Speed-Painted Wizard

Hey guys, thought I\'d brag about my speed-painted Dogs of War wizard (really the Empire one, painted in generic Jedi robes colors so he can use any of the 8 Lores of Magic).

He took only 2 hours 53 minutes to finish, which I\'m very happy with since I\'m not a terribly fast painter usually.

If you want to ask any questions, go ahead! I appreciate any questions, comments, criticisms, you name it :)

I don\'t know if there\'s much reason for bigger pics, he\'s pretty plain :p I\'ll see about posting them tho. The images I make for my blog have to be 500 pix wide to fit the format properly, but I\'ll make a 600 pixel one and get rid of that white line on the edge. That\'s not supposed to be there!

I second Vike on this one, great job for under three hours. Takes me three hours to settle in to paint, yet alone finish a whole mini.

Surprisingly few Foundation paints this time around! I think I just used two: Tallarn Flesh for the skin (shaded with Devlan Mud and hilighted with Elf Flesh) and Khemri Brown to undercoat the lighter cloth. I may have used a Foundation grey for the basecoat on the beard, I can\'t remember :p

The outer robes were based around P3 Battlefield Brown, shaded with my mixing pot of Black + Scorched Brown and hilighted with P3 Hammerfall Khaki mixed into the basecoat.

The brighter cloth was done with Foundation Khemri Brown, hilighted up to Hammerfall Khaki and then with a bit of white mixed in for the final edging.
