I just for the first time in my life speed painted. I actualy finished a miniature in 2 hours. MY GOD DOES IT LOOK LIKE CRAP! lol It was sure fun to paint though!

Well, if you want tips on speed painting, i know how to get large squads done in an evening done to a very decent tabletop quality, if you are painting an army or something.

on the other hand, if you just dunked it in paint, thats a heck of a lot more fun!lol Ever do the speed painting at games day?

the fastest i painted a model was 45 minutes and it turned out nicely i think

I have an old commercial hair dryer that has helped me speed up. I blastevery thing with hot air to dry quick and move on to the next coat. I also have to give a nod to a tank brush, they help your speed alot.

What\'s a tank brush? A brush for just your tanks? Or a brush the size of a tank? Or perhaps a tank full of paint that you dip the mini in?

After winning several speed painting comps at my local GW they organised a special event.I had to paint twelve models as a unit while 12 people painted 1 model each for another.
They each had until I finished to finish theirs.
It was mental and a blur of painting for just under 1 and a half hours left me with these.

They came out quite well considering and I did a load more in the same way for my army.
