Spider Skins

I just saw these spiders and thought the skin was extra cool. Something I have never seen before. The last picture is the best.

I\'ve seen them done like this before, and it is static grass, then painted up as hair. Apparently with all the layers of glue and paint, the static grass becomes very hard, so it doesn\'t move around and rip off easily, which is a plus.

Does anyone have pic\'s of the rest of this army? I\'d like to see why he\'s got his spiders on a stony city base. Well done though....

I have seen this done too, it is static grass, also some people flock them (who knows why) with the brown woodland scenics flock

You can also do this with your wolf riders, if gives extra texture to the fur.
