Spore: pc game thoughts and what not.

so has anyone else gotten their greedy little mitts on this game yet? my students are ALL going ape spit over this game. they say it rocks. any other comments on this game.

btw: with the system requirements to play this game, even roger\'s computer could handle it. its pretty low and awesome for it.

Hey, I\'ll have you know my new computer is capable of handling games now. I had a go on that creature creation demo for Spores. It was fun, for a while, but obviously there\'s a limit to what you can do in that demo.

come now roger...... we all know your computer couldnt handle it and blew up. didnt you used to use a computer with windows NT?

if not then i am sorry....it was probably undaves computer powered by skulls and cross bones.

That\'s got to be an upgrade from the earlier mice powered technology, right? That ought to have taken care of that annoying \"out of cheese\" error... :)

that was much better than the son of a bleepity bleep that was windows 95. when that came out i wanted to immediately go back to 3.1.

my favorite though so far is XP

Bought it and played it. i think its best described as overly addictive but rubbish.

The first 2 sections are ok, but very limited, then theres the tribe staqge which is like a cut down version of populous, followed by a cut down civilization.

Really i think it was a nice idea but its feels rushed.

This looks compleatly crap, I will NEVER play this game. On a par with that game where you had to run around collecting flowers and crap..

From what I saw on the net the limit easily included \"penis creature made of penises\" lol

I have read some very unflattering reviews of this game, alas. It sounds like the later stages where your creatures become intelligent and civilized ARE really just rehashes of certain other games...

No, it was made by the same people as lara croft. You are some kid who talks to animals or sumat, anyway, like i said, i think it will flop bigtime.

Planned on picking it up after work today, but got the invite for pints at the local, so may have to wait for tomorrow to pick it up.

As far as reviews, it\'s sitting at a solid 86.5 on gamerankings.com that\'s pretty damn good for an average of 38 reviews.

Uh, that was actually me being silly. From what I\'ve played of Oblivion, it seems to be heavily into the botany. I get bored of picking flowers, so I gave up.

Have you played the game Alextheartist? You actually never have to collect flowers, it isn\'t a mumorpuguh :D

I think lots of people miss the fact that this isn\'t meant to be a serious game...its made by maxis afterall....the sims
