Having looked through David's excellent work on Nurgle and gruesome Plague bearers, I thought I'd do some research on something I was told about recently.

Krokodil side effects.

Oh Hell, ..................seriously I'm not putting up any links on that.
If you want to google images that; BE WARNED THE IMAGES ARE SERIOUSLY NSFW OR MINORS, OR ANYONE WITH A DELICATE DISPOSITION.

Needless to say I've had second thoughts about doing a Nurgle figure, at least for a while.

Interesting. Had never heard of this street drug before. The Wikipedia entry for Krokodil is interesting and pretty safe gruesome-wise.

Don't need to see the picts, the ingredients are enough for me !!
- Krokodil Information. The medical name for the drug is esomorphine. It is made at home by acquiring codeine, sold over the counter for headaches, and cooking it with paint thinner, gasoline, hydrochloric acid, iodine and the red phosphorous from matchbox strike pads. The resulting liquid is injected into a vein.

He is amazing. I love the bubbles in his stomach, how did you do it?

A question if I may Sprocket: how did you achieve the translucent slime effect? Hot glue?

Its Microbeads, UHU glue and water effects, there is a description of the process on my blog: http://sproketsmallworld.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/project-nurgle-part-7-adding-slime.html

Needless to say I've had second thoughts about doing a Nurgle figure, at least for a while.

And to think some people were grossed out when I posted a picture of a snail on Ten's thread! I started to look, saw the first picture and thought the better of it  I'm usually all in favour of finding good 'real world' reference material for fantasy subjects but in the case of Nurgle it's best to tread very carefully!

Pictish Mini Painting

I'm actually a man!
Grandfather Nurgle is saddened by all the weak stomach's, he feels you should all be blessed with such delights to fully appreciate them.

Good old Papa Nurgle....

I have to hold my breath everytime I scroll through your wip, cause when those pics hit, they are nothing short of show stopping pieces. Even your unfinished ones have some kind of magic about them. Simply stunning work bud. Even if they are grotesque :p

And just when everything was going so well!
I've had a dodgy shoulder since I injured it in the gym seventeen years ago (believe it or not I used to be a fitness freak with a six pack & pecks). Last Monday it went again and my Doctor thinks I've torn the ligaments. Now I'm waiting for physopherapy and a scan. in the mean time I can't move my left arm at all and I'm stoned on painkiller:messed:! So It doesn't look like I'll be doing any painting for a while!

AActually I know everything and anything g I've had three tears 4 users ago two of them of the sits muscles were large and retracted and we're repaired..the Dr was terrible and needless to say he clear me too early and restore it ,after a year of therapy I tore the bicep muscle due to bad therapists and now it's very limited and fully non functional, all I can tell you is even if someone says it's ok listen to yourself it takes one full year (not 6 mobths) 1 full year for it to reattach then be nursed and developed back to health get great Dr's and no less....if you need to know anything leave me a message.Def no fun all I should've done was be patient and get good drs...oh well can't turn back time...but I could give advice on full thickness retracted tears...hopefully it's not what you have.not to scare but educate.hope all goes well.see how an MRI reads, and see how if torn responds to therapy.
