Sproket's WIP

Splendid work David I think the bit I like the best is the light reflecting along the red section of the spear having two hard glints and then the linear highlite is very effective. I will pinch this idea as I find highliting such plain shapes challenging. You have found a very effective solution.

I like this very much I think the black under coat stops the purple and blue and white from clashing. A nice change for you.

Thanks so much Guys!
It's still sinking in as, although I hoped for a trophy and hoped that trophy would be gold, I thought the sword was out of my reach this time.

My exact thought during the award ceremony was 'there is no way I'm going to win the slayer with that little thing'. It's so true that it's not how big it is but what you do with it that counts. :snicker:

Stunning work again Mr Sproket sir. The subtle conversion, perfect posing and stunning paint along with that base, another incredible piece.

So, will you be trying to take a sword per category until you have one for each now ? I see you have Warhammer Single Miniature and WH40K Single Miniature all sown up, what's next ? ( Another vehicle would be the ultimate to see you do ).

You're the best, David! It's really nice to see a figure defined by impeccable taste and technique win such a prestigious award. I love the base as well as the amazing painting. I'm very happy for you!

Terrific work, once again. Specially like the reflections on the staff and how they contrast with the highlights on the robes perfectly explaining the differences between materials shininess...
