Well what can i say, this was my entry into the Wyrd Iron Painter V round one and also the first paint job I have completed in nearly a year due to work etc.

The theme was \"Guess thats why they call it the blues\" had to sleep on the subject but come morning this is what I came up with.

I cut away part of the dress molding/sculpt to make it look like she only had the gold banding for a top and to give her a sort of blue/errotic feel and also gave her a pale blue eye shadow.

Not sure if the gems have come out in the photos that well but if you enlarge them they are there and not just red dots.

Anyway here are a few photos :D

ANd two more that were taken with different cameras trying to sort out lighting issues which I still haven\'t managed to sort out :(

I just love this model and its rich vibrant colors.

I\'m glad you advanced (although that darn Matty couldn\'t muster up a decent enough fight)...I do feel the scoring on this was a bit too harsh. It has a fantastic graphic novel feel that I really like.

A very nice paint job, very clean and smooth. It is also a differant rendition of this mini, not really my taste but well done all the same.

The flesh looks a little flat, I think adding highlights and shade to her should really make her zing! I does not have to be too major, subtle is better.

Mr Buddle is indeed happy with what you\'ve done to his sculpt :)

I like the extra flesh on display, it\'s an interesting alternative to the intention of the sculpt. Seems to work though. Maybe I should have painted the studio one that way. Might have sold a few more ;)
