This is my first posting, just wanted to see what people think and how to improve.

The sniper rifle is quite black still as I was trying for a matt black rifle.

Looks good so far. The black shading on the do-rag could be a bit lighter and the toe nails could use a bit of white.

Good camo but you need more shading. See what you mean about the riffle but it needs more colors or some extreme highlight otherwise it\'ll just look unpainted.

The sniper (yes, he is a Ratling) looks pretty good. Bit more depth on the skin with a wash or two and tidy up his foot.

The rifle - can see whta you\'re trying to achieve with the Matte black scheme but does need something to bring it up a bit - extreme edge highlighting should work here.

However, my main suggestion would be to improve the base - the black/grey stones and grass don\'t look right together. I would overbrush the stones with shades of brown and drybrush the grass too. This would compliment the camo scheme better too.

For a first posting, you show a lot of promise (nice colour choices, neat brushwork and excellent work on the camo) and we expect great things from you now... welcome:beer:
