SQUIG HOPPA!!!

Heres a squig hopper that i painted in about 1-1.30hrs, which is speed painting for me, I got this mini in a mini exchange from Mick (Torn Blue Sky) and absolutely loved painting it!
My first submission, the photo didnt pick out the highlights i had done on the skin, so i repainted another level of highlights on to the all the areas.
Hope you like it as much as i enjoyed painting it!!

The paintings good, I can see the highlighting, but the photo is a little blurry, good photoshop background. I dont like the white stuff on the base, it looks like pva glue and you need to blow the grass so it sits up a bit. 7
I do like these models, have you seen the new ones, great. Hope the critique helps. keep up the good work

Cheers Krom, il keep those in mind, i might touch up some little ares on him, such as the base. But the photo, iv just got a new SLR so im trying to figure it all out.

The white edge thingie around the base edge, possibly because you didn\'t paint the top of the base before glueing down the flock?

These gobbo fellas are proving to be quite popular. I\'ve just ebayed a regiment and bought the new plastic fanatics so hopefully I\'ll find time to paint them up soon.

You\'ve done a really good job on these especially \"Da Bloo Huds\". As already mentioned, the base on the squig hoppa needs improving but the overall quality is pretty high, well done. :beer:

Woo Hoo, I was VERY lucky to get the last skarsnik and Gobbla model for sale at gamesday on pre release and it is just gorgeous, never before has a single mini made me want to collect a whole army!

I like the squig hoppa, not the best picture but well painted, especially in gthe time frame. A 6.5 from me.
