Star Trek Minis?

So, I\'m wondering if anyone ever made any 28mm minis of characters from Star Trek (the original series is what I\'m hoping for here...) I want to experiment with a little diorama of Spock facing a le-matya. ;) I feel like I\'ve seen some, but maybe that was, like, some heroclix junk or something.

Anybody have any ideas?

There were some a LONG time ago.... like in the 80\'s. They must be impossible to find by now. And were probably shite anyway, like so many 80\'s sculpts.

Cool, I knew I wasn\'t hallucinating that! Thanks!

Impossible is a relative term. ;) I bet they show up on ebay every once in awhile. Maybe if someone can remember who made them I can put them on my list of things to do searches for... You\'re right though, I hope they\'re not such a bad sculpt they\'re not worth finding.

Actually they were older than that - 1970\'s vintage Heritage -

I\'ve got a few of the Generic Crew Figures - they came with swappable heads - the ones I have have no heads at all so they are done as generic Star Trek Fanboy zombies

ROFL! Thanks, guys!

You know, I was doing some ebaying last night and found this fellow:

He\'s about 2.5 inches tall, and not really meant to be painted... he came from spencer gifts. But I\'m considering it.

If you\'re willing to consider 54mm, Andrea has a Spock figure, though it\'s not exactly an action pose. I think it\'s called Starship Officer or something else not-Spock in their catalogue, but I\'m getting errors on their site so I can\'t check for sure. Here\'s a picture of it on CMON.

I never even thought of pewter. There is all kinds of Star Trek Pewter out there, I\'ve seen it in a variety of gift shops.

Now you\'re going to end up paying way more then your usual Mini prices, but you may be able to find some good pieces.

Rawcliffe Pewter puts out a Star Trek Range.

Googling or eBaying Rawcliffe Star Trek got me tons of hits. Unfortunately they barely have a homepage (just some contact info).

Fasa did a line of STTOS to go along with their RPG. They were slightly better than the ones shown but very soft metal (not all lead, just bad pewter) I still have some, you can find them on ebay at times. Fasa also did alot of the starships. Rawcliffe made a display line that were larger like the one shown above and the metal is more like minis we are used to. hope that helped.
