What I have for sale is a unique fan made ( by that I mean me) scale model of Jabbas Space Cruiser - based on the drawings found in the 'Star Wars Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels'. The model is 86cm long, 38cm wide and 21 cm high when on it's clear acrylic display base (OK so it's not technically a miniature but I thought this would be the best place to attract the sort of people who would be willing to buy this piece). It is made from glass fiber, acrylic and styrene and sprayed with cellulose paints. I have decided to part with it as I have other interest to take up my time, and space and feel that this deserves a better, more loving home.
It is my intention to put this on Ebay to finish in the first week of Dec so that it can be shipped out in time for Xmas. I have not looked at shipping costs yet but anywhere outside of the UK will probably be UPS or similar to ensure that it arrives safe and sound. It will be placed on Ebay.co.uk with a starting price of £150, however if someone was to offer me a decent amount that I couldn't refuse then I will be willing to make other arrangements.
P.S. this model did originally have a fibre optic kit that lit up the clear domes and had spotlights in the grey band just under the top superstructure. The wiring no longer works and is not that easy - well pretty much impossible to get at. That said the light tubes and fibre optic cables are still in place and could be made to work again if someone was to insert a new system in to the space currently occupied by the battery pack.
If anyone is serious about buying the model then I can provide bigger pics and pics of the battery pack if needed.
