Star Wars minis?

Where can i buy star wars minis? I would really like to paint some jedis from episode 1 and 2.

Minis

Wizards of the Coast produced some minis for the game when it first released. Try your hobby shop, or WoTC website. I do not remember seeing any of the Jedis but who knows?

AS far as I know, WotC offerings in jedis are limited to male and female padawans, a Cerean and a Twi\'lek, and that\'s as far as it goes.

I feel that WotC really missed the boat neglecting the SW line...

Actually, I bought the Human Male Jedi Padawan for my game, and I really have to say that you pretty much can\'t tell that it\'s a Padawan -- i can\'t find the hair thing, at least. Also, there are links available to purchase the figure off the Star Wars section of the wizards.com website. They paint up pretty nice; I used GW paints and I actually think it\'s one of my best figures. Lots of folds in the cloak for highlighting, decent face, and of course a lightsaber.

I got my WoTC Star Wars figs (this and this) at local hobby shops. You can also get them from New Wave, and other online stores too I imagine. I can attest that at least on my two, the sculpts are very nice with minimal cleanup needed.

I too am very disappointed by the WoTC release. I mean, there are only a few obviously Star Wars characters, and several generic humans who could easily fit into any SF game scenario. The Jedi are cool, but I especially was hoping for more aliens. Where are the Wookiees? The Bothans and Mon Calamari and Sullustans and Hammerheads? Not a lot to go on for a mini-based RPG, methinks...

I wish I\'d bought more of the old Grenadier Star Wars line. As it is, all I have are the Skywalkers (Darth, Luke & Leia), and a squad of Stormtroopers.

You might try Bartertown... see if anyone has some for trade. Also some online stores or hobby shops might have some laying around.
Not that it matters much to me, I have the only mini that matter out of the old Grenadier set... Boba Fett, hehe

Starwars Monoply is a good place to get a few of the Models you might want. True they are real 25 mm but that is generaly ok.

I just ordered a few from GrriffonGames.com. They have only one Jedi listed (female Twi\'lek Jedi) but you could convert a few others, imo. I\'m thinking of converting the Gungan Scout just because I know it would irk a couple people I know ..they hated the idea of *Jar-Jar ever becoming a jedi. Gonna give him a double bladed light saber ..oh yea..watch\'em yell

*No..Jar-Jar isn\'t really a Jedi, in case you have\'nt seen the movie, but just thinking about the possiblity would irk a couple people immensely. LOL!
