Star Wars minis?

I don\'t think so...

It says Boba Fett measures in at 2.75 inches, and Yoda a mere 1.75 inches, so my guess is that it would be on a 54 mm scale. Almost all the major characters are represented in some form or another.

I don\'t have any of them, but now, seeing them I am sorely tempted. (yet in accordance to the challenge I took with Herb the Bitter, I still cannot buy a miniature until I have completed my 20th of the ones I do have, I have 12 more to paint!!)

I have that Boba Fett from Rawcliffe and it is quite a nice sculpt. There should also be no problem painting them up.

As for finishing up mini\'s I don\'t know if I have ever truely finished a mini. :(

I have the minis from the first Star Wars monopoly set. They are quite small, only about 20mm, and are lacking in much detail. I have just come from the store and was looking at the new Star Wars Saga set. The minis are much more detailed, and appear to be much larger. If the board is the same size as the standard one then the minis must be around 54mm judging by the picture on the box. The set normally sells for $34.99, but it was on sale for $23.99. I almost bought it, thats 24 dollars for 8 minis! Three dollars for a very detailed 54mm mini is an excellent bargain IMHO. The only reason I didn\'t buy it was because I don\'t collect that scale.

Are the pieces in this set cast metal, Mark? The Star Wars Saga Chess Set also features the larger figures like you mention, but the minis are plastic (soft plastic, all reviews mention bent and twisted weapons).

This sounds very cool. Can you still purshcase this set for the stated price? I\'d like one of these. Let me know if you\'d be willing to expedite a purchase. Thanks!

The box said \"8 collectible metal game pieces\" so I assume that\'s them. I\'ll see if that price still holds, the sales usually end on Sundays around here. I got to go to the post office today and mail out Ghaffasa\'s; never mailed overseas before, any advice?

Markus, where did you get those Runequest sets? I\'d love to see what\'s inside them. I have the ancient minis of Harek, Gunda, Beatpot and Jareel from Archive but generic Gloranthan stuff from the old days is hard to find. They look like they may be from when Chaosium owned the game.

They\'re at least 15 years old Vince. I have to go to work now, but I\'ll try to post some pics of the contents tonight. I included them in the above shot because I remember someone on these forums saying something about still playing Runequest. I wish whoever owns the franchise now would re-do it with D20 rules. It would be pretty cool to have a hit location system like that for my D20 campaign. I use the crit tables from the old Arms Law set, but the old Runequest stuff brings back fond memories.

In my gaming group back in high school, each of us GM\'d a different game system so we wouldn\'t all have to learn the rules of several and could still vary the systems and take turns playing.
RQ was my baby.
Sadly I sold all my RQ stuff on ebay a couple years ago.
However, I did keep my copies (I now have 3) of Dragon Pass and bought Nomad Gods even though it\'s only avaliable in French. The Glorantha stuff is still being put out by Issaries, Inc.
HERE
There\'s also some new Glorantha minis at Discounthobbies.com.
Avalon Hill owned RQ, so presumably Hasbro owns it now. Doubt they are interested in putting it out, but they might sell it to someone else.
