Interesting idea.

I like the fact that it won\'t be tied to the movie characters.

The Star Wars universe seems big enough to have plenty of stories, and with some of the crap on TV already, why not?

There\'s loads of stuff to work with. There\'ve already been lots of books and computer games that haven\'t used the main characters from the films.

I\'d love to see the Bounty Hunter wars brought to life...also a lot of the short stories of incidental characters round Mos Eisley and Jabbas palace...or maybe a stormtroopers eye view of all the shenanigans...or well OK there are a ton of things they could do..It could be pretty good...

There are actually two new Star Wars TV shows in the pipeline, the first is called \"Star Wars, The Clone Wars\" and is a CGI animation that deals with the timeline between episode 2 and episode 3 (not to be confused with the clone wars cartoon series that was on the cartoon network)
The clone wars will be the first series out and looks well good, but to be honest i loved the cartoon network ones as well

and the second is the live action TV series that philologus mentioned, but thats still in the writing stage, the CGI one is in post production if i recall correctly

Oh Christ, not more Clone Crappy Wars. The only good bit was that one ARC trooper slaughtering hundreds of droids singlehanded.

Screw Clone Wars, I want more Galactic Civil War stuff! Hell, screw the entire prequal trilogy appart from the Obi-wan, Quigon, Darth Maul fight from Ep1 and the Obi-wan, Anakin fight from Ep3 :twisted:. Leik dood! al teh stromtropers r clons!!11!!!
