Well, my 4 year old daughter always wants to paint daddy\'s bad guys while I\"m working, and for months, I\'ve been throwing her an odd battle masters piece here and there so that she can glop paint on them when she\'s in the mood to paint. Keeps her out of my hair for a little, and I don\'t have to give her any of my models I really want to paint either. She\'s also managed to get savvy to the brake fluid bath, so I can\'t just recycle the same couple guys anymore. I\'m finally running out of minis for her to paint, and she won\'t paint dollar store cowboys and indians because she tells me it\'s not the same. So does anyone have a suggestion on some exceedingly cheap minis that I can give her to paint up? The pink sparkly Knights need someone to fight!

I would try Ebay and find some bulk old mini sales, maybe plastic guys would be best.

I think it\'s awesome! Because the younger they start, the more likely they are to stay with it :D

But it can be expensive as she speedpaints one or two colours onto them I bet? :D Post some pics for us to uuuuh and awwww at!? :D

Ebay is a great place for cheap bulk minis, if you can find someone selling lots. If you can\'t wait that long might want to look at something like Discount Hobbies .99 cent range and bulk packs.

Wow... I just think I found a company to add to the list of: Must get minis from this company to paint!

From that link, Urban Mammoth miniatures

From their gladiator range:

Hey, discount minis is actually kinda neat for what I was looking at. She\'s into pirates, so I\'ll have to get her some...

(She has a pirate ship toy on the top of her bed filled with change... she tells me it\'s her pirate booty)

That\'s sooo sweet. I\'ve got a little 15 month old toddling around here and I\'m looking forward to when he starts doing stuff like that. Post some pics in the forum sometime of her painting!

@Supervike: Wish I had someone to play with, I would start that game... It looks a bit like Necromunda in setup... And their minis are very smooth and dynamic, only a few of them I don\'t like :D That Gravbike of the Syntha is awesome! Btw: Urban Mammoth website

@dougaderly: Sorry for hi-jacking your thread :p

@Supervike: I\'ve always had great timing :D
@Dark Seraphim: don\'t worry about it, I was thinking the exact same thing looking at the urban war miniatures! And I\'ve got 3-4 more minis I have to take photos of this weekend, so I\'ll probably take some of Bella\'s miniatures as well.

If you can find a cheap copy of the game Carnage it has lotsa plastic minis that are poorly made but you could also do up real nice.
Another game full of minis that would be nice for a child (and which I plan on painting as a Bretonian army in case anyone ever comes over and wants to play Warhammer but doesn\'t have an army) is Lionheart by Parker Brothers.
One on Ebay now
The ones currently selling are asking way too much. If you look at sold ones they go for like $2 for a box full of minis, some of which aren\'t that bad (I have 3 in my gallery right now!).
