Starting with P3

I have decided to start using the P3 paint range and im after some advice on where to start. I intend on pretty much starting my paint range from scratch so I need a good all-round selection from P3. The sets seem fantastic but what ones would I be best to go for initialy to give me a reasonable range. Im thinking about 4 sets should get me started. Also, does anyone know where I can find a little more info on how best to use the paint range with regard to good colour combinations.

Have a look at the \'sticky thread\', there\'s probably 2 dozen threads on P3.

They are nice paints, just start with the colours you use and go on from there.

yeah, donga...
perfectly painted poo= P3lol...

ok...
as a guy who worked for PP when we had to mix all our colours with gw paints, i\'m a huge fan of P3...
mixing sanguine base from scab red and dark angels green gets old after a while...

i use very little gw paint these days, and have converted my paints to about 80% P3...

i went with 6 sets to start:
iron kingdoms
cygnar
protectorate
khador
cryx
mercenary

if you don\'t paint cryx or undead much, i would switch the cryx set for the trollbloods set(it\'s got some great colours)...

single colors i can\'t live without include:
coal black
skorne red
ryn flesh
greatcoat grey
gnarls green
flesh wash
armour wash

good luck, and enjoy the wonderful coverage that P3 has over other paints i\'ve tried...

cheers

After using 1-2 of them at a friend\'s house, I took the plunge and bought them all (except for inks, since I have so many and don\'t use them often anyway). $180 well spent.
