Static Grass

Can anyone tell me in the UK where i can purchase Static grass from ( the one that looks like strands of grass, not coloured sawdust ). Cant seem to get any for another month at my local hobby shop.

GW sells small bags, but for larger quantities, try a model train store. Look for dealers of Woodland Scenics or Noch

I just started buying from this place . Even sell Testor\'s Dull cote , Scenic snow and an assortment of leaves , grass etc .

Caelithar on that website you posted is the above description look like the stuff i am after, looking at the pic i cant see it too well if its the correct stuff. Ive seen bases with strands of grass in clumps and thats what im after.

Also a very good link that one, very cheap on the P+P, ive seen some that charge silly amounts to send a little bag of flock

I think you are right, and this would be what you\'re after.
A few weeks ago I\'ve bought from them myself, and I\'m very pleased with what I got. And indeed the shipping is very reasonable as well.

Excellent that is exactly what i\'m looking to do, i want to progress from PVA and 1 coat of green flock and go for the next stage with more detail.

tip:

if you are making just a couple of clumps on a base, use superglue insted of pva and blow on it as it dries. it tends to stick up more then and look more realistic

Cool will give that a go with superglue, I ordered the stuff last night so should get it soon. Just need to look at some mini\'s now for some inspiration:idea:

Ive got to say this is the best site ive ever used for help, info and member freindliness. You guys and girls are credit to the mini world. The site is a lot better than a previous more well known one i used to use ( i wont say which one but it started with a G and had a W in it ), I could make post for help and get no reply at all sometimes.
