Tartan patterns can be very intimidating. However, they can also really add to the look of historical figures, fantasy barbarians, or those trollbloods you've got! The good news is, if you break the pattern down into its individual parts and then slowly build it up, painting a tartan really isn't that hard. If you can paint a (mostly) straight line, then you've already got the skills you need to do a tartan.
