Stephen King\'s Dark Tower

For the first time I\'m reading these - just finished the Gunslinger and am about 30 pages into the Drawing of the Three. They\'re quite good so far . . .

Question: Are there Gunslinger inspired miniature ranges out there? I know I can cobble together a set of suitable items to use but I wonder if there were some lines that clearly follow some of the characters or situations in the book - Roland himself, the Man in Black, the various Mutants, etc etc

Hey Darth . . .

Ya - the three remaining volumes will be available by the end of next year:
5. Wolves of Callah (this Fall)
6. Song of Susannah
and 7. the Dark Tower

I have a long way to go . . .

Wow...so after taking so long from 1 - 4 (like 15 years or so) he\'s gonna crank out three in the next year?

Scary.

I always thought a mini of Detta (?) sitting on Roland\'s shoulders firing a revolver would be cool. There\'s a great illustration of this in one of the trade paperbacks.

Well, he has to finish them soon or he could die or something. And if anyone can produce 3 good books in a year and a half it\'s King. He\'s perhaps not the best writer out there but he certainly is prolific (without sacrificing quality as far as I can tell).

Indeed he is prolific. I haven\'t read anything of his since Green Mile, so I\'m not sure if anything about his style has changed.
